Just got predator dnc w/ bobcad. I can send files but can't receive from the cnc machine using the dnc software. All settings are correct wondering if anyone has expierenced this before?

Are you talking about just sending and receiving files between the machine and your computer, or actual DNC, which is running your machine directly from the computer?

No, never seen that before. Have you sent and received files with the machine before this? If all of the settings are correct, speed, bits, handshake and all match. It sounds like some setting on the machine.

Check your flow control too. I'm no expert, but I'll post how mine is set up . My machine is a Haas.

It says software. Look on your controller for setting it in "Receive mode"
