    Coolant manifolds

Would it be possible to install solenoids on a Haas VF2 that could control two separate coolant manifolds? OneCNC has coolant controls in their programing I'm hoping I can use to control the solenoids.

    Re: Coolant manifolds

My 2014 has 4 spare relays. I use relay one to activate a solenoid to power on an air spindle. I just set up a post processor to output a m19 to lock the spindle and m51 to turn on the relay which fires up the Air Turbine. I've been looking at switching solenoid valves to divert coolant from the main line to a separate time to make is easier to use shorter tools with the Big Shepard speeder I just bought since it's so long, requires coolant, but isn't allowed to take a bath. Pretty hard to match tool lengths with a 6" long spindle speeder. I haven't found any high volume switching solenoids for less than $300 yet... But I haven't looked that hard

Do you have a link to the solenoids you have found?

    Sorry, wrong term.

These are the ones I saw but I'll have to test one to see if they will work or not

Another way would be to get a NC and NO valve. Put the NO on the main line and the NC on the second line and wire them together. Then when relay command is sent it will shut off main line and turn on second line. I may go that route just to be safe. More crap to wear out though.
