What's PCNC1100 Max Height On The Stand ???

I have one room in the shop that's got a 96" ceiling where I would like to put the machine. I can cut out the ceiling and get another about 9 inches if I have to, but I would rather not give up that 9 inches of insulation. Alternatively I can put the machine out on the shop floor where I have a 16' eve height, but I'd rather not. It gets quite hot out in the main shop in the summer time, and I just can't afford to air condition the whole 3000 sq/ft shop. I have one machine out there right now, but I try not to need it for long jobs in the summer time.

Thanks. The drawing I found saying 81-3/4" also indicated newer machines may use a lower stand. Looks their will be enough ceiling height to set the machine in the machine room. Now to decide what will have to go out. My lathe(s) most likely, and maybe one of the little high speed machines.

I put my Series 1 on Footmaster caster, so it is a little higher than it would be on the standard adjustable feet, and the articulated cable tray for the PDB tops out at about 93", so you should be good to go with 96" available height.

I installed my Series II 1100 in my basement with a ceiling that is a couple inches less than 8 feet without any difficulties. I don't have the power drawbar. Using my engine hoist was the closest I got to hitting the ceiling.
