Question Want to design my own controller software

    Hi all,
I have built a 3 axis flat bed 4' x 2.5' engraver/router and I'm running this with Gcode 2.5D Casmate .iso and Enroute .NCC, that I parse with my own designed post processor and load to Mach3. I find that Mach3 is too slow and also rounds off 90 degree corners, so I'm not getting the results that I need. Can anybody point me in the right direction to finding info on building my own drip feed I/O output controller software? I am familiar with, bipolar logic, signal square sine wave pulse frequency modulation, the math for time over distance, linear to arc ratios, vector analysis, inverse unit circles, I,J,K arc and cartesean coordinate system referencing and have a fundamental knowledge of C++.
Thanks in advance for any help.
