Wanna build CNC with extrusions. Need help

    Hello!

I wanna build a cnc machine with aluminum extrusions, but i need some help.

I understand how i mount the extrusions together, but i need some tips how mount the stepper drivers and ballscrews!

Anyone with some good tips or guide?

You need to make some plates to mount the motors (which is what I'm assuming you're talking about - mounting the drivers just takes screwing them down to a heatsink). The plates mount to the extrusions using the special hardware that comes with them. The screws typically mount to the motors directly, using couplers like the Oldham type; you need to use them or any slight misalignment will break off the motor shafts. The far ends of the screws need to be constrained, but not too tightly - essentially they need to float to account for heat expansion.
