So the trotec support guys have been fairly useless in helping us service this machine. It has a fairly new (refurbished) tube, that they are wanting to replace. The problem we have is that while doing large, deep etchs, the laser intermitedly powers off and leave bands of unetched material running through the engraved pattern. I will post pictures of this, but its a fairly intuitive as to what is happening. Anyone have these issues? Initially we thought that it was tickle power problems, but we bumped it from 180 to 220 with no noticiable change. The trotec guys are in the process of sending us a new tube but I sure would love to nick this problem in the bud before all that. We have done other large scale suggested overhauls only to find small components being the culprit. Thanks guys.

Hi ,
Do you mean the engraved effect is not perfect ,not flat as if you can see visually that one or two lines were power off or not as big power as the others ?
We once have similar problem and found it was a unstable voltage cause .
Hope you haven't make the overhauls yet ~~
