    To choose strategy

    Want to make this one:

    1) firstly want to make the main curvilinnear surface
    2) then cut pockets
    3) and then outer contour

    1) Tried to make 3D milling with detail contour limiting - work but milling pockets also

    2) In Working Area - Work on selected faces selected main surface - doesn't cut pockets but doesn't form main surface as well

    What to do?

Edit the CAM Part in the design tree and add a surface offset of 0mm to the top curved face, then use the delete and patch/fill option to fill the pockets in. What you should end up with is the full surface on top with no pocket cutouts. If the part was drawn in solid works you may be able to roll back the design tree to turn off the pockets!
Once you have done this, in SolidCam, reselect you geometry as the new surface. Try running you 3D contour path then.
