    TNC 151A Board level Schematics

I currently have a drive issue with the X and Y axis release on a Bridgeport Interact with a TNC 151A controller. I have confirmed that the drive to CR12, and CR13 are not working and that CR14 (Z axis release) is functioning. Am currently in the process of confirming if the drive system (reed relay, darlington array, and the latch) are working.

I have seen many system level schematics for the TNC 151s but haven't found a set of board level schematics - a schematic that would show the PLC board and say the analog board diagrams. Does anyone out there have this level of schematic - it would sure make debugging the TNC problems easier.

    Thank you for your consideration.

I do not believe that heidenhain releases that level of info. There are functional block diagrams in the tech manual, and that is as far as I have ever seen

    Gus,

Thanks for the response. Yep - all I have ever seen are the block diagrams (I have a pretty good collection in my Bridgeport directory). The lack of schematics results in more disassembly and head scratching than I typically like to do, but it is a learning experience

    Thanks again.
