I Have a Kia 4NE II 600 (same as Hitachi Seiki) with a 10TF control and I have recently replaced the solenoid valve that actuates the tail stock. The valve was replaced due to hydraulic issues not electrical. After installing and prior to connecting, I checked the wiring and voltage. Each lead, forward and retract, have 107Vac at the same time. I have cycled the switch for forward and retract and each lead still has 107Vac both sides. I am not sure if this is normal in the logic and the final connection has to be made or if there is a problem in the ladder logic/controls that is sending voltage to both sides?? I do not want to burn a new valve trying and hope someone out there may have an answer.

I don"t have an answer to your problem, but do you have the parameters and data parameters that you would be willing to share?

If you power both sides of an AC solenoid, you will burn it out.
Disconnect one side for safety and Check the ladder to see if both sides are activated, if not then an output is shorted or other.

I believe those have the ice cube relays for the outputs. One is probably stuck.
