Question SolidCam + Mach3 50+ Parts - pattern (Offset) etc...

Hi, first post here, need help for SolidCam part pattern, if it's possible of course...

So the thing is I have plastic sheet (1200x600mm), from that sheet I need to get 50 smaller pieces (50 exact the same toolpaths),

At first I thought that I would use Mach3 offsets and use sub program of same toolpath, but I cannot get it working - its so simple but so complicated at the same time. First - Mach3 decides to clear second (G55) offset value and much more problems.

So what would be the best solution for this specific job? I thought maybe SolidCam has "pattern" or pre processor Offsets?

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Just had an idea:

What if I useSub-Program, reset axis on each part and at program end return to first part start position - First mill one part at X0Y0, then move axis to second part zero position, zero X and Y axis and use sub-program again at X0 Y123, then X123 Y0 etc...

    Any ideas?

Transform command in solidcam will do that for you . Just create the tool path for one piece and use the transform option as you want either circular pattern or rectangular

Before I started to work, at this moment I have one piece drawing with complete toolpaths, can I transform it without redrawing complete sheet with 50 peaces? Or SCAM must have transform part? Maybe extending Stock is enough?

No need to have a transform part . For stock if you want to see the simulation you need to extend the stock size . Select all your operations right mouse click then select transform from the drop down menu . Use translate\matrix\ then just fill up the Columns on the box

You can do it with transform command.

Everything is clear until "fill up the columns on the box" If I select all operations, in list appears "Multiple operations..." If only one - that operation name. Right click - I can add matrix etc but if i enter matrix count and click OK it doesnt do enything, click OK again to apply transform, nothing happens. ?

Pretty dumb mistake Didn't set X - Y steps. Thank you! Works like a charm now. Will see how Mach3 eats that g-code

    So here we go again,

I have problem that I need to drill and pocket each part individually, using transform I get every single operation on all 50 parts, (drills holes in each part, just then makes pockets etc..) What I need is to drill, pocket one part, then drill pocket another.

    Any suggestions?
