Mazak QT-20 T plus Control Alarm

Our machine upon powerup every morning now and then sometimes when running will give Alarm 21 Drive Unite Power Malfunction (2,0,&003B) and Alarm 33 Emergency Stop. When we turn off the power it will clear the alarms and it may run all day fine or it may do it 3-5 more times during the day. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Either you have a faulty encoder feedback with Alarm 21, check all connections for coolant intrusion or for the 3B Alarm is the axis servo drive power module overheat.

    Alarm 21 and 33

I know this thread is old, but I am having these same issues.
Anyone out there that can help??? I have checked these things and can not nail down the problem. I have also swapped out MDS-A-CV-260 and the
MDS-A-SP-260 drive units with "good known units" from a machine that is still running and come out with the same results. I have even changed these units with "good" "B and/or C" units to no avail. Does anyone have any more thoughts?

Ok All, I swapped the amplifier card, encoder and motor with "known" good units. Turns out, the motor is the culprit. I guess I should have changed that first LOL.
