tool offset for concave convex shapes

Any way to let Mach3 know that it has to take into account the tool diameter when machining a concave or convex shape? See drawing attached.
G41 and G42 work left and right, I need to brake the tool advance or accelerate it depending if it is climbing or going down.

No, you'll need some 3D CAM software for that.

How much do you want to spend? Are you surfacing the whole part, or just cutting a slot with that shape?

If you have an .stl model, Freemill will write the code for you.

Is this 2D or 3D and is the cutter a end mill with a ball nose?

Take an stl file - through the demo version of STLWORK2 - You can account for the tool diameter (endmil/ball etc - you specify) and even cut in waterline -- or slab if you like.

No VB programming required - you gotta like that

But if you want the purchased version I recall its about 125 bucks- so not free - but affordable. It will do a demo cut run for you too - let you QC the code.
Not associated - Just like it. [IMSERV - they advertise on the 'zone]
