No neon, but it does have a fan that is lighted with a few LEDs.

BTW: Can you guess what I'm going to be for Halloween?

Either a clockwork baddy from the game City of Heroes or a neon light?

    pimped buttons etc

this is too sweet and arcade like and I have to make me a controller like this

I recognized that stuff off the bat from www.happcontrols.com
and some other game sites regarding the MAME arcade machines. I even have lots of those parts and the programmable button control was nice. They have their own site I believe.

I really like your controller the most, are the whole plans/designs in the Mach 3 docs? Or do you have like a schematic of all those drives, etc.??? Ive been looking but no luck.

I'm very impressed with your work. Not only the "machine porn" but your clocks and instruments are beautifully made. It's so nice to see someone build a machine and use it for something besides cutting their kids names in plywood.
Btw-what software are you using? I have heard of very few successful GRex machines.

    Brian,

Thanks for the compliments, but I'm sure there are many people who are making incredible things with their machines.

BTW - "Pimped Up" doesn't have a pornographic inference. It's just a popular term to describe things with a excessive amount of "Bling".

Yes, I am using GREX controllers with Mach 3. Have seven machines running on these controllers with no problems.

I believe harmsdesign's reference to 'machine porn' is that these types of images are what 'floats us addicted CNC'ers boats'! It's our 'eye candy'! What cause our 'putters to flutter'! etc...etc...

BUT I have to agree... beautiful machines & stellar results!!!

Senna is correct: beautiful machines make me want to see more pictures of beautiful machines.
    Again, my compliments.

The Pendant of my second machine (see photo stream) uses a Ultimarc gaming keyboard controller. The Mach 3 documentation has a couple of pages that define how to implement this device.

I just started to play with a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard that has 18 program keys that can be set as a single keystroke or a series of keystrokes.
Hey maybe you can help me!
I got an ultimarc I-pac 2 and altough it is working, I cant get keygrabber in mach2 to communicate......... Am I missing something.
    please hep.
Do I need to get out of "Mame" mode somehow??
    Thanks

Hey Clockwork, nice job on your machine.

Can you tell me what drive motors you are using? Where did you get them and how much did they cost?

Also what kind of rails did you use?

    Thanks for the help.

Beautiful Work on the Machines, Clocks, Instruments

    Hello Clockwork,

Just a note of Kudos to you.
I went to your Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1113208...n/photostream/

And was really impressed with the quality of your machine builds, your controller/input device (Ultimarc setup, etc), and the clocks and musical instruments that you have made on the machines.

Well done! Please post more pictures of all.

    Best Regards,

    Joe
