    Fanuc 0M servo alarm question

(EDIT) First off I just want to say thanks for this great forum... Very informative!

Im having an issue with the drives throwing a.....

    401 SERVO ALARM (VRDY OFF)
414 SERVO ALARM: X AXIS DETECT ERR
424 SERVO ALARM: Y AXIS DETECT ERR
434 SERVO ALARM: Z AXIS DETECT ERR
444 SERVO ALARM: 4 AXIS DETECT ERR

This seems to occur after about 5-10 minutes in random orders. Sometimes just the x and y or sometimes x and z or 3 at a time. It doesnt seem to be constant. The HC(High Current) LED being on is the only constant.

    Diagnostic..
    720-723
00010000 on all Axis that show HC

    730 - 733
    All - 00000000

Any input on what to look at next?

    hi Geeserteg.
I would be worry about alarm 401!
This is what i have experienced in FANUC OT :
Alarm 401 (velocity control ready signal was turned off)
After few hours i track the 24vdc coming out from the Power Supply module,CX4 conector this line goes to several devices on the I/O board
and finally i found that one of the contactor was not closing
    repair the cause (ground wire)
And machine Works perfectly after that
    Hope that help!

    Dear Geeserteg,

This may be the result of sudden interrupted supply.

WOW these things are sensitive! I found the problem. It ended up being a coil on a relay going bad. It was pulling to much current. It just so happend that it was the one controlling the lubrication cycle hence the machine cutting out in about 10 minutes. Thanks guys!
