    G201 gecko drive

Is there a way to test a G201 drive. I need to know if one of mine is bad. I may have finally killed it after about 13 yrs.
    Thanks,
Also is the g201x compatable with the other two I have on my router just in case it is the drive.
    Thanks again
    Tony

Since you say killed "one" of yours, I assume that you have more than one. If another axis is working, then you know everything hooked to it is as well. Can't you just put the suspect driver in a known working axis to see if it works?

If there is an easy way to check it with a meter I would rather do that. I dont want to cause any other problems. I would also like to check another one I was saving for a fourth axis but I suspect it may be bad also.
    thanks
