    Haas control.

    Anyone knows how to deal with problems with haas super vf2 control?

    Whan i push prog list i hear a load bang noise came out of atc (i think) then the keyboard stop responding and i have to power off the machin in order to carry on working. I cant choose another program other than the one that is working.

    This is common issue with older Haas controls. Problem is file names on your hard drive, the control does not like long file names (longer than 8+3 characters) or letter else than 0-9 a-z A-Z.

    Sadly only way to recover from this is to reload the control software. I have done it numerous times in past for this reason (before we figured out what was happening). Reload process is rather simple but you need to get proper files and instructions from your HFO service guy.

    Yes the haas service guy did use some files i had reparing it. Thank you.
