    General air question

I finally have both of my hurco's up and running.

I was running the md3 Friday, and the tool changer is sticky. When it spins, sometimes I have to tap it with a rubber mallet to get it to finish its rotation.

Am I supposed to have an oiler installed on the main airline ? If so what type of oil and what flow?

Right now I just have dry air.

    Re: General air question

    Steve,

Attached is the section of the Machine Operation & Maintenance manual for my BMC-20 that details the air-lube setup. I would expect your MD3 would be the same or similar.

    Cheers,
    Gary
