Hello everyone,
I have a PCS 6 x 10 table, HT2000LHF plasma, Adtech HC 6500 controller and an HYD THC 300 height controller, SheetCam TNG, and AutoCad LT. 3/4" brass grounding rod 10' long pounded in about a foot from the table. ALL ground leads go to the rod and nothing daisy chained.
My problem is when I begin to cut, I think i'm picking up some EMI from the HF start in my controller. I can run my nest or a single part in trial mode with no problems, only when I actually cut does the problem happen. And it's sporadic as well.
I've been told to put low pass filters on my 220v and 110v to correct the problem.
My question to you guys is will this put an end to my problem, and do you believe it's EMI?
