    SR-100 Accuracy

SR100 router uses rack and pinion, could it engrave 3mm letters in alum. plate perfectly well enough?

You should be able to dit fine, if you slow the feed rate down to between 100 and 150 mmpm. I would lean towards 100 mmpm. we had an issue of holding accuracy on our Onsrud which has R & P on the X axis, and ball screws on the YZ. It wasn't holding near the accuracy as our TM-1 Mill. so we slowed it down and got good results.

    Hope this helps
