You know what would have been better? if I had looked in the bottom of the box that the pendant came in and found the disk supplied with it. I always have to do things the hard way.
Hey All,
I have had nominal success getting my WHB04 to connect. On a test laptop, it worked one time then failed to shuttle any data between mach and the pendant. The display only ever shows zeros. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver v3.84. Are they any Mach3 settings that need to be wired up? The thing looks amazing and I can't wait to get it working.
Thanks!
@phando
Can't help you there, but i read that you have driver version 3.84 for the pendant?
I want to try the latest driver (V3.86.9) , but the downloadable rar file is a corrupt one, so i cannot use it.

Would you be able to share your 3.84 driver somehow?
Sorry to revive an old thread.
I recently had to upgrade to a modern computer and decided to go through an Ethernet SmoothStepper. Since the change, I have not been able to get my HB-04 to work. With the dongle plugged in, powering on the pendant, it connects, but only reads as all 0's. There is no action being passed to Mach3.
Motion works fine via keyboard, I have tried different versions of the drivers in the plugin directory.
I put a copy of the Mach3 directory on to a thumb drive, then copied it over to a different computer. Was able to Launch Mach3, plug in the dongle and then turn on the pendant and it works, the coordinates come through correctly and I have control from the pendant.
Has anyone had an issue with different USB ports (tried all I have) or a BIOS setting, maybe a windows setting??
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
-Don
