Hello, new here and always learning and hope my question does not confuse everyone, for lack of my knowledge.

I am working on the force calculations of the joints, (moment and coefficient of friction) needed for an articulated robot arm with five degrees of freedom, the end effecter is a bearing spindle.

What I cannot find is the plunge, holding force of the spindle and spindle velocity min, max, optimal needed for milling various Woods and ferrous/non ferrous materials per bit size: so I can add these to the moment and coefficient of friction of the arm calculations.

Any help in finding the sources for the information will be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you for the great site, I had tried a search before posting a question to no avail but received an answer from the “similar threads” section at the bottom of the page below my redundant question!
