Non yoocnc driver with yoocnc controller?

I ordered a 4th axis for my 3040 machine, I just got a generic driver today and went to hook it up to the yoocnc controller on the A axis output. The yoocnc controller outputs pl+, pl-, dir-, dir+. The new controller board is marked V+, Dir-, Pulse-, En -. So has anyone tried to getting a non yoocnc driver to work with the yoocnc controller?

Both driver boards are based on the Toshiba TB6560AHQ.

Re: Non yoocnc driver with yoocnc controller?

Ok it is up and running with the cheap driver. I had to do a little wire testing figuring what was what with a voltmeter but finally got the configuration right.

    YooCNC Controller Cheap Driver board
    CP+ ------------------------ EN -
    CP - ------------------------ Pulse -
    DIR - ------------------------ DIR -
    DIR + ----------------------- V+

I found to match the speed of the stock drivers I needed to set the driver to 1/16 microstep and 100% decay. The holding torque is awesome at 50% compared to the stock controllers. I wish I could bumb that up on the stock controllers.

Here is the new Driver board that I got for 12 bucks! NOTE: Switch settings are not what I ended up with.

Here it is fitting in my original case:
