Fadal interpolation problem - cold weather

I ran our VMC15XT without a hitch last night, as usual. The heat went out overnight, and today, after running the spindle of course, and the positioning system for a few minutes.......I ran the first part and it is doing horrible scallops during circular interpolation.

Anyone notice this at all? Probably no one running a machine when its cold............but wondering if I have another issue.

Patience will tell as I let it soak to temp overnight again.

Well, its not the cold, still acting up tonight. Narrowed down to a real rough X axis motion. Looking across other forum posts on that issue next......

    resolvers? encoder? Screw? hmmm.....

OK, I see some things and will start a new thread for future generations searching the forum

Can you post the code in question? I can try running it on one of my Fadals and see if it's a code problem or something on your machine. How cold were you running the machine??? I keep my shop about 50.

Thanks Warren - its just a plain old G1 on a program run many times before. I started a new thread more accurately related to the specific issue and will update resolution there. Thanks!
