The control had a low battery alarm, but did not lose the parameters. I have since replaced the batteries under power.
If I remove the board, will I lose the spindle parameters in the unit?
Part of the trouble shooting in the manual requires I check voltages on the board. Those test pins are obstructed by the orientation board. Can I remove the orientation board and power up the control without harming the unit?
If I need to replace the unit, how hard is it to access the parameters and record them, without screwing them up? Are they protected?
Any tips as to how I should proceed?
Thank you in advance.
