    Storage of end mills

I have a bunch of used end mills (several hundred) and I am looking for
ideas on how to store them so that they don't bang into each other.
Could anyone share with me how you store your end mills, I would appreciate it!
    Regards, Carl

Knock up some of these for those in use and wrap the reserve stock in paper soaked in WD40.

I made mine out of some scrap solid plastic used for kitchen work surfaces (Corrian?). It makes a good CNC fill in job!

Thanks for the link, that's exactly what I was looking for.
They look easy enough to mill but I would rather buy them if I could
    find a USA supplier.
    Thanks again.

I wrap mine in tinfoil- stops them bashing into each other.
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

i use the plastic tube mesh it kinda looks like a chinese finger trap, it comes in rolls of 25 feet or more and its cheap, best of all its oil resistant and can be used over and over. One size usually covers a good diameter range and being in roll form you can cut it any size you want to. We have even gotten different colors for different diameters and styles of cutters so at a glance you can identify what you want, as long as it was put away properly.

Thanks for your reply about the plastic mesh.
Would you have a link to a website that sells what you
    are describing?

    Regards!

Shootrr, your link works fine. I see they sell it in a lot of different sizes
and colors. I'll put an order for some today. Thanks for the tip and the
    link.

I mill plastic trays with 100 holes each and stand the endmills in them.
