<<<Wishes I had a program to covert .dxf files to g-code>>>
AutoCad and Shop-Talk just don't do the job *sigh*

Can any of you guys help me find a French Foreign Legion Metro Para Badge? I will try to post what it looks like. I only need it in 2d but I am having trouble with finding one.
DXF or a good copy of the badge. Either one would work. Thanks
Hi, this is the best I could do with the time available.
I did a small bit of editing on the picture but it turned out that the unedited version you posted became a better .dxf anyway.
The first two are just the bitmaps, the second two are the .dxf's after re-saving through CamBam. The last is the G-Code for Mach generated in NCPlot from what I thought was the best .dxf. Im assuming its ok to post the NCPlot G-Code because Im using the free trial, obviously I wouldn't have posted the code from a copyrighted program like V-Carve.
Thanks by the way, you've given me todays carving. Will post a pic if all goes ok. L8rs.
Thanks for the help!!! I will give these a shot. Here are some of what I came up with, still learning though.
Here is a link to an online converter.

Here is a couple of Gcode files for some stuff I cut.
350mountnew (2).zip
Shortcut to shroom girl.zip
Shortcut to airtankbracket.zip
One of which was a girl sitting on a mushroom. which I found on here as a DXF file, but cleaned up a bit and made it a Gcode file.
One is a set of motor mounts for a S10 pickup to install a Gm small block
The last is a bracket designed to weld to an air tank, etc.

Hello All!
I'm looking to see if some one has the grips for a 1911 pistol in some type of cad, dfx or dwg etc. I'm just looking for the base design. I have buddy that wants a custom grip.
I'm also looking for a way to mount an actual/original dremel tool to my z drive. I want to be able to use the 1.8 inch bits for more detailed work. I thought I saw a diagram at one time but can't find it now. Any help would be great.
If any one has any info about them or etc... please post it or PM me. Thanks in advance. Rev

Here is the measurements I took from his pair.
Hi RevTech, Im not sure what router your using, but unless I dont understand what bits you mean, you can get 1/8" bits with a standard 1/4" router shaft. Save you buying a dremel if u already have a regular router....
Thanks for the reply. I have both the Dremel and the router. I'm looking at the smaller bits because of the cost. I figured that I could buy the smaller cheaper bits and save the cost of the larger ones. I'm paying 24.00 per 1/4 upcut bit I'm using. I also would like smaller than a 1/8 inch. You know nothing is cut in stone this is just an idea I had. It might not be worth it. But hey what the hell. LOL! I would like to do a few pistol grips and I would like to make a very detailed design. I thought they would work better. But I'm new to this, So I look to the group for info! Thanks again! Rev
I bought an er16 collet chuck for mine...ranges from 1/32 to 7/16
