    Problems posting to Mach3

The M_Mach3 post processor sometimes generates the following type of line that Mach3 does not like:
    N6G00G28Z0.0
Mach3 does not like having the two G codes with an axis reference in this case. I am not clear on how to avoid this problem. Any suggestions?

    Hi Bruce,
I don't like the looks of it either, just for the fact that the Z axis may need to be retracted some before moving to the home position. Is that the actual code produced? If so what are you using for the Home position and Safe Z values?
You may want to change your Z Home height and the Safe Z settings in the software.
    Regards,
    Wes

Try using the m_mastr5 Post Processor. It works better for me.

    Cheers.

Yea, the safe z value is another problem. The G codes shown above violate my safe z, which is positive .25.
