Dear All,

I have some problems to Read and Punch G code into the Miyano Lx-21s with Fanuc 18T model B.
My setting are

TV Check : Off
Punch code ISO/EIA : ISO
I/O Channel : 0
Baud rate : 10(4800)
Data Length : 7
Stop Bit : 2

My laptop has serial port and can use with other machine perfectly.

The Problems are:

1. When I punch program out of CNC to my laptop, I always receive a bunch of characters that cannot understand.
2. When I read program into CNC from my laptop, The CNC always alarm. The alarm random between "087 Buffer Overflow" and "079 Program Verify Error"

I already try to fix by the following but cannot fix this problem :

1. I change the cable both with Hardware and software handshake config. I also change the setting in the laptop as well.
2. I try to change the baud rate 2400-9600. I change both in the CNC and laptop.
3. I change the serial port in the CNC machine.

What can I do next? Please help me to find the answer of this problem.

Check your Windows Control Panel - Device Manager - Ports and be sure the FIFO buffers are turned all the way down and unchecked.
