    PMC editing on 16m control

I would like to make a change in the PMC ladder on a mill to enable the "Controlled axes detach" feature. It is not worth the cost of purchasing the Fanuc ladder III software to get it done. Can anyone help me with this?

If you need only to detach the additional axis, try first to set PRM 1005 bit 7 on this axis to 1, which will enable detach function. PRM 12 bit 7 =1 detaches the axis.
You may have interlock problems - axis not clamped etc. but it can be solved with a dummy plug.
Be careful - if the axis to be detached shares a double servo drive with another axis, then it is a bit more complicated - you have to set also 1005.6 to avoid magnetic contactor off and prepare a dummy plug for JF1 of the detached axis.

    I've got it handled

Thanks for your help. I found a local control retrofitter with the software. He is going to make the edits for me.
