    offset holes

In V20 when drilling holes and the trying to cut out the part I get an X axis offset between the holes and the cutting even though I haven't moved the part on the machine or changed the zero settings but it simulates fine!

Is there actually an x offset or does the cutting just look small? I took a quick look at it and your not using cutter compensation.. Did you add the radius of the tool to the tool path?

I have drawn it with an offset tool path. On the machine (Crusader II) the size is fine it's just offset to the right about 1 inch.

I got back into the shop today and found out what is going on. The control is adding in a .4" X axis offset when I use tool length compensation. Now all I have to do is figure out why!

    Hello,
I have found the only place that I can think you would ever get the offset... If you could add OEMDRO #204 to the screen and tell me if you get any values . If you need me to make the screen change for you tell me and I will see what I can do .

    Thanks
    Brian
