New to Edgecam but I've successfully completed several operations. Intermittently, I get this error message when I check mark "select stock" in the roughing dialog box--even though there's obviously stock that I set previously in design mode. I have to basically go back to design mode, delete the stock (a few times sometimes) and try it all over again.

Is this a bug in the program? or am I doing something wrong? (I click on the stock icon, set it to automatic stock, click ok... fairly basic).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

After you checked select stock and checked ok to close the dialog box you should have been promped to select stock at which time just double left click a top edge of your stock and check ok.
