    Question Machining a hex on a lathe with live tooling and a "C" axjs.

    I have Hitachi Seiki and Haas laths with live tooling and a "C" axis, no "Y" axis. I have heard that you can machine a hex on this type of lathe using the "X" and "C' axis. How do you program this type of operation?
