    It needs approval first.

And depending on how busy they are (cough), that can take a week. Or overnight.

They also need time to pick through the code and make sure there isn't something in there that wants to mine for credit card numbers or something else. So depending on how involved the code is, it can take more, or less time.

    Patience grasshopper.

I may be able to implement a 16:9 or 4:3 choice into the settings in a future release

I know *I'm* the one who said to be patient... But who else keeps checking the iTunes Store every few hours to look for the posting!!!

How's the plug in looking? Going to be a tough sell without it.

For those interested, I have posted the PC applet on the website if you want to try getting it running in preparation for the iOS app.

    Hi Mike
Tried to install the app and I got the same error message that I got on the beta.
"there is a problem with the Windows installer package. A program required for the install to complete could not be run."

This is on an XP machine

Try installing V1.01 that i just uploaded. It removes the auto install of the registry file, let me know if that works for install. You will have to run the Mach3RegistryFix.reg file manually from C:\Mach Pendant\Mach3RegistryFix.reg

As a test I installed on my Win7 "test machine" that doesn't really connect to a mill (but has a full Mach install) and it seemed to install OK.

Yep - appears to be sitting there waiting! And it's waiting more patiently than I am for the app to hit the store.

edit: I did find "Mach Pelican" on the itunes store. Is that close enough? Hahahahaha

    Heh, give it a try!

Trust me, I'll post here before it even hits the App Store. They notify me once they start reviewing it, and once it's approved. I'll maintain the status here.

Tried it on my "real" XP machine just now - 1.00 failed as expected, tried 1.01 and it's also now waiting (again, more patiently than me! ).

    Sounds great.
Got another feature request for ya. Right now I have my jog speed set at 10 percent and I hold the shift key down to rapid. There doesn't seem to be any accommodation for this on the pendant. or did I miss it. I'm still excited for it's release but without that I'm not so sure how useful it will be if I have to hold the shift key down on the keyboard while I push the jog button on the ipad
