Looking for source on larger PM motors

I'm looking for a couple larger motors. They MUST be perm. Magnet motors. Nothing else will do what i want to do.

I'm wondering if any of you know where i could look. as allways, i'm looking for cheap. The higher the voltage the better for what i'm trying to work on. Supporting electronics are not necessary as i'm working on building my own.

motors out of treadmills, maybe someone's old mill or lathe spindle motor, perhaps a servo motor, something along these lines. On the spec plate, the higher the voltage and the lower the RPM's the better. Please contact me if you know of a good place to look.

i would prefer brushless, but its not absolutely necessary.

You may want to look at older Gettys or Fanuc Yellow cap on ebay.
Depends on what you mean by high voltage, the DC brushed mentioned are around 200v max.
What is the reason for higher voltage and low rpm's as normally these do not go together, at the same time anyway?
If you supply a particular high voltage, the motor rpm will have to be such that the back emf is sufficiently high to avoid exceeding the rated torque (current).

i will check thoes out, and i will pm you my explinations...

200V would work so long as the rpm's are low enough.

and your right, they dont normally go together, but thats why i'm on here asking, cause the other places i've looked didnt pan out like i had hoped.
