Hi,
I have just finished a DMM Servo build and discovered the max kernel in mach is not giving me full performance of the servos, also at the max setting it seems a bit flakey throwing driver watchdog alarms which isnt ideal.
I dont have any experience with SS but believe I may be able to achieve full rapid movements of my machine currently not available through mach and the parallel port.
Has anyone experienced parallel vs SS with a servo setup please? Looking for some reassurance I suppose, I contacted DMM who said they believe the servos are compatible with the SS but at this time waiting for confirmation from them.
Any help would be much appreciated. I did post int eh build log forum but only just saw this SS forum sorry.
