A stepping stone is always a good tool for EVERYTHING! Wish I had when I started it.

Since you are in class here is a little lesson,

Find a good high resolution pic of a logo you would like to work with. Place it on your computer. Open Mastercam > Settings > Run User Application > find and click on rast2vec.dll you will be able to pick it up from there. There are lots of Raster to Vector conversion software out there. Keep in mind that this will not be perfect you will almost always have to do some editing or tracing to get things the way you want them.Enjoy!!!
