    Linear feed

Ok gentleman (and Ladies if any)
Need to feed about 0.156" about 39 times before starting over (only about 6") No real mass to worry about.
Regular sheet metal feeders are way to expensive for a small sheet metal shop that is hanging on by fingernails.
So ... I have motors off old Hurco M1-310 CNC (Any one need boards or motors?) Can make any screw so could match any indexing. Have found rotary drives on ebay but not sure what would be able to control it.
    Pure scrounge operation.
Would a PLC be able to contol a stepper motor? Accuracy is not an issue.
Might be able to do it mechanically but that is not as much fun.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you all in advance..

    Hurco m1-310

Looking for Hurco m1-310 documentation. Do you have any of the manuals?
Just lugged home a Bridgport with Hurco CNC and model is M1-310.
It's not that I'm trying to make the Hurco stuff function necessarily....but would like to use some of the mechanism and maybe servos..
    Any info would help.
    Thanks,
    Randy Ray
