    Kellenberger Kel-Vista UR 175/1000 - Turret sticking

Please move this to the appropriate forum. Couldn't figure out what that was.

Kellenberger Kel-Vista UR 175/1000 CNC Grinder with a GE Fanuc Series 2li-T control

The turret(?) will randomly get stuck and take approximately 10 minutes to rotate.

There are no error codes and the machine will do it very randomly.

The only thing that I can think of is, could the coolant be causing it to stick? Anyone know if there is a grease point somewhere in there?

I tried to do a search.

Has no one had this happen to them?

Same machine here, but never happened ! And I don't think there' a grease point for this.
Let us know what could cause this please.

Derek Hall with Hardinge stated that it would most likely be the hydraulic pump or hydraulic valve. He said to watch the pressure gauge when it's operating normally as a reference, than watch the gauge when it's acting up.

If it's lacking power, than probably the pump.

He didn't say it, but I'm assuming, that if the pressure is there but the table isn't lifting, that maybe the valve is going bad?
