Those look good Jeff. Have you checked on their prices?
I have not myself, but the customer of mine who found the site said they were less price than Plitron.

    Ahem....
So did I. I didn't twiddle the scroll button enough to see it. With the "new look" of CNCzone, I'll probably wear it out all too soon.

    Remedy

This seems to work pretty good. Go to this site for Hammond mfg. click-on transformers, browse through the wide variety, then click on the map to find a distributor in your area. I found one for my area which is louisiana. It was an electronics supply out of Alabama. They had the one I needed in stock and I should get it in no more than 3 days. Heres a LINK

Try a different "display mode" maybe the hybrd mode.

Fast, Heavy Duty Transformers, almost free

    Try a microwave oven transformer.
The primary is usually 110 volts.
Power is 700 to 1200 watts.

    Keep the primary coil intact.
Strip out the secondary high voltage coil.

    Choose the voltage you need.
All the coils I have rewound have been 1 turn = 1 volt.

Choose a secondary wire that is heavy enough for your current draw.

    Example
You need 25 volts RMS from a 1000 watt transformer
    Output will be 40 amps.

Sometimes a fan is good to cool the core while it is working.

You can place taps on your secondary to vary the outputs or wind two or three coils of whatever voltage you wish.
