Hi,
I have 3 ground ball screws complete with ball nuts and bearing blocks. Unfortunately I do not have any means to identify model or manufacturer of these screws. All I know is that the diameter is 40 mm and the pitch is 10 mm. (And I heard hearsay that they could be made in Sweden/Norway/Denmark - somewhere up there.) But that is not important. I am trying to clean them. So I started to dismantle the nut. So far it looks like preloaded double ballnut without flange put in milled (and probably ground - at least on the inside) body. My question is: Does somebody know this system and if so what is under the two diagonal screws visible on each nut?

And the follow up question is what is the best way to mount these flangeless preloaded nuts to the table (for milling machine purpose)? The thing is the machine didn't start it's life as milling one, but as a measurement one. And the forces were max up to 1000N. So the present mounting is not usable.

Thanks.
