anyone know what's happened to the site ?

I just went for a nosy at their build page and the web site seems to have been wiped. Just a splash page, nothing else ?

I saw that when I was googling .. but I don't think it's the same people.

I did find they sold some stuff off to other web sites, but the original (hungary) HU site had lots of 'member builds' , some of which were quite interesting !

I recognized the .hu as a country suffix for Hungary. Wasn't sure if they were the same outfit or not.

It looks like it is gone.
if you want to look, try this page:
    Internet Archive Wayback Machine

do a google search for "site:hobbycnc.hu" without the quotes and there are a few pdfs cached to view.

Akár az Ön weblapja is lehetne = website could be yours?

Maybe they ran out of money hosting it.

It's a pity. I used to look through their DYI machine gallery for fresh ideas.

István (old owner) was shell this domain, and closed all hobbycnc activity. Therefore deleted all of informations. He do not want have business calls and others from this time.

I tried to collect money for buy this domain, but, it was too much for me.

Now have new owner (Hungarian too) but at this time he do not want to do anything with it. This domain parking in he's hands.
