I have a small (100W) Panasonic servo motor that I want to use, but I can't make sense of the encoder wiring. The model # is MQMA012A4F. The nameplate model designation guide on the Panasonic website makes sense for the first seven characters. The 8th should indicate the encoder type as either P (5-wire incremental) or S (absolute/incremental common, 7 wire), so the "A" in this position is uninterpretable. The encoder cable has 10 wires. The last two characters (4F) also don't correspond to the designation guide. The serial number indicates that the motor was produced in May of 2004. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Jon
