    Haas Indexer

We run 2 Haas indexers they are brushless so they have the 2 cords. One of are customers sent over a Haas indexer for us to run a special job its already fixtured up. Well it has only one cord and the end looks bigger and will not fit into the vf4? Is this a brush style? we contacted them and they do not have a control box. How would we run this?

    Thanks

You can get an adaptor box from Haas. It has two cables to connect to the machine sockets and a single socket for the indexer plug. Cost is around $1,000 - 1,500 I think.

Rent brushless control box from your HFO, they do that.
If it is a long run , what Geof said.

That will be the serial number I think, what you need is the model name/number such as HRT210, HRT160. You can scroll through the options under Setting 30 by pushing right cursor (I think) until you find it.

Was everything plugged in correctly? I have had this error when I turned on Setting 30 without a rotary plugged in.

If you are all plugged correctly??? Can't suggest anything else.

you have to turn off the machine after you change any rotary settings if your parameters are correct and you are using a brush type rotary setting 30 should not have a bl or a b after the hrt210 if you are still getting the alarms after you cycle power try inverting rev power on parameter 43 after setting 30 is on hrt210 and then try it with no air on the rotary in case the brake is hanging up.

goto parameter 43 and invert overtemp nc make sure you are using the correct parameters for a brush type unit not a brushless.
