Need some help ASAP. We have a G&L HMC 230. We noticed the hydraulic fluid had some water in it. Replace the fluid. A couple of hours later, tank was overflowing.

After talking to G&L their thought was coolant getting into the hydraulic fluid in the drawbar area. This has happen before according to the person I talked to.

Got the drawbar /rotary out and apart.

Contacted G&L, tried just buying the seals and a few other parts. Could not do it, have to buy the whole rotary union from Rohm. After a week of this, G&L finally got a quote of $11,500 AND 15 weeks delivery time!!!!! Hate to see the price for the drawbar and rotary union. We are a small shop,If we have to wait 4 months we will be out of business.

Does anyone, have an idea for another source for parts/ seals. Starting to search the net.

Sounds someone is ripping you off. I guess this machine is the same as Hüller-Hille nbh-230. It might be much cheaper here in Europe

Do you have the G&L partnumbers to share. Hopefully they are identical to Hüller-Hilles. Also manufacturing year and serialnumber of the machine may be useful
Röhm partnumber for the union may of course also be of help
