    GibbsCam and Grooving-Lathe Module

First time user of the Lathe Module for Gibbs. Although I am familiar with Gibbs and their Milling software, I'm having a little trouble applying a cut on their lathe side of things.

Basically what I'm trying to produce is a face groove, ideally with a top notch style insert. I will be pushing the insert sideways towards center and cutting some minor chamfers at both the entry and exit. I've drawn out the geometry and try to produce a "contour" out of the Machining Pallet. I have selected the center of cutter at the time the "start/end" markers step. I have offset the geometry by half the insert width and it's still not yielding what I'm expecting.

Anyone ever encounter this? Am I unaware of a super secret handshake thing Gibbs does or am I pulling a bone head here?

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure your circles are on the proper side of the part. Also make sure in your contour box that you have Front Face clicked...
