FH 5800 pallet changer driver alarm

hi, i had a problem with my mazak fh5800. the battery was faulty, and we have replaced the battery. but,the abs position of the tool magazine and the pallet changer was lost.

the problem is, i cannot unclamp the pallet. i'd checked the wiring seems all ok. i'd done everything as written in the manual to unclamp the pallet. if i can unclamp the pallet, the pallet then can be hook up and rotate, so to get the abs position back.

so, can anyone of you please help me. how to unclamp the pallet????

Not sure on that new of a machine but my machines all have a M/T 0 Search switch and you have to have the machine find both the Magazine and the Table true zero positions before it will do anything. Look for a small toggle switch labled M/T 0 search.

you must run this program that is : starts\programs\ MR-J2-CT SETUP SOFTWARE

then you select axis as PALLET

then you must click diagnosis menu

then click sub menu IF DIAGNOSIS and you must check IT+ and IT- yellow or white?

then you click alarm menu and save history alarm as writing a paper then clear

If its Yellow you must click other menu that is "parameter"

then you must click "all read "

then you must click other menu "test operation" and confirm "ok"

    press the "stop" button here

then you click "parameter " menu again
then click "all write" and confirm alla message.
then click "red absolute position button" confirm all message
then click "test operation" menu again click end.

turn off nc and then turn on nc

if problem occured again write me

MR-J2 is only if you have Fusion or newer control. If your machine is a M+ control, you don't have any J2 drives.

A few other things to note.... you may not need to set a new 'zero' for this. But, in order to clamp/unclamp the table, you need to be @ the Home 2 position in Z (you'll want to be there anyway). You'll also likely need to use the MF1 key to hold down at the same time while using the Maintenance side of the control. Many of the M+ controlled FH machines also had a "Zero" or Home key on the maintenance side for the tool changer(magazine) and the pallet changer. Simialar to homing out a machine when you first turn it on (unless you have absolute position detector).
It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....
