Hello,
Putting my machine back in service after years in storage... I'm at the point where I have to reset my Machine X,Y,Z home positions. Problem is we no longer have the Manuals... Can anyone point me in the right direction or have any procedures to get me through? Any help would be great appreciated!!!

If you go to your system screen, under the parameters tab is there a parameter 1815? I know some older Mate's had controls without them, but most do.

Hi Foot,
No Parameter 1815... Its a fairly older machine circa 1987. I didn't want to call it ancient because I was in high school at the time...lol I lost all my Parameters, but I have now put them all back in... So I didn't actually think it would be a parameter issue. You do?

No, i didnt think any parameters were wrong. 1815 is how you set the home position. Turn 1815.4 to 0, move the machine where you want home, turn 1815.4 on.

I've never worked on a control without an 1815 parameter, sorry. Perhaps a call to Fanuc will help.
