    Fanuc SV117 Current Conversion error

I have a Fanuc A06B-6079-H106 servo amplifier that gives SV117 Current Conversion error immediately on power-up.
Has anyone seen this error before? I have been an electronic tech for about 30 years but have just entered the CNC world as a controls tech.
I am thinking maybe an A/D convertor failure but not sure. I would also like to set up some kind of test station so I can test Fanuc servo amplifiers. Does anyone have any ideal's or suggestions?

    Thanks

    what is control series?

did you swap cables with another drive?

Yeah, I troubleshot down to the servo amp and replaced it. I want to repair the faulty drive if possible. When I get a chance, I will swap out the control board (in the drive) with the control board in the replacement drive. Where I work, there is no way of testing so I have to wait until a machine is down to perform the swap.

I know how the currnent is detected in servo amps of previous models A06B-6066, but most likely the same is in your amp
there are just shunts and analogue galvanic isolator
if you want you could PM me and I tell you which elements may be "bad guys"
