Hi,

I have a Leadwell MCV 760 XL with a Fanuc 10M control. A while back, the machine had some problems and dumped the parameters. I was able to reload them and get the machine running again, however, the spindle only runs 2 speeds. the lower speed runs if it is programmed up to 1000 rpm, and the lower speed runs from 1001 and higher. The spindle runs full range of speeds in manual mode. I just changed the sensor under the fan on the spindle motor, and the motor sounds better, but only runs the 2 speeds.I It seems as though I am missing some type of parameters that govern spindle speeds.

have you entered data tables into PMC parameters?

Yes, all of the data tables are entered. I have no idea what is going on with this machine....It was idle the other day when, on its own, the tool changer carousel started to rotate, the coolant pump went on, and the spindle motor was running! I really hate to get rid of the machine, but don't know if it can be fixed.
