    Encoders

Hey I've noticed there are some cheap encoders up on ebay and other various places.

My question is, is it worth it to hook these up (using mach 3). Does it help with accuracy and repeadability?

    Anythought would be appriciated,

    Oh and one more thing

    Merry xmas

I learned a lesson only to buy new or NOS off ebay, too many are ones that are taken out of service because of a problem and end up on eBay.
